What type of work will I do?
The trip revolve around providing basic medical services, community outreach, evangelism, serving in the local schools, pastors and leadership conferences, may also include some building projects.
Do I need a passport?
Yes, for all international travel, a valid passport book (not a card) with a t least 6 months remaining before expiration. For more info visit travel.state.gov/passport.
What does the cost include?
Roundtrip airfare, ground transportation, medical insurance (specifically for mission trip period) lodging (missionaries stay in the community during the week), two nights at a resort, Team T shirt
How long is the trip?
10 days, from Friday to Sunday usually.
What about Immunizations and prescriptions?
No immunizations are required for Jamaica, however we suggest you visit the cdc website for more information @ www.cdc.gov.
What the trip cost?
Approximately $1,000.00. Cost varies/fluctuate depending on your point of origin and airfare. We try hard to keep cost low.
Do I need previous mission experience?
Just a willing and teachable heart.
Does the trip needs to be paid in full prior to leaving.
Yes, we highly recommend that for convenience. Due dates are spread out in increments.
Dress code?
Think summer as in light wear. For ministering in the local churches a dress or skirt for ladies and pants and shirts for men. Jamaicans dress up for church, but modesty is the rule across the board.
Do I have to attend any preparation meeting in order to participate on the trip?
Yes, Meetings will be held locally, for out of state team members meeting will be via phone.
